Production Team Lead

A manufacturing company that specializes in providing safety solutions for a variety of industrial applications, including environmental solutions, welding protection, and machine protection is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Production Lead for a permanent role. We are looking for a hands-on leader to manage the production and assembly process from start to finish.    

salary: $52,000 - $56,160 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Coordinating tasks and ensuring adherence to safe work method statements and risk assessments
• Assisting with co-ordination, management and scheduling of activities to ensure that equipment and resources are efficiently utilized to meet production outcomes
• Assist with assembly, shipping and general production
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
• Providing reports on work completed
• Assist in problem solving for your department
• Attend meetings and training events when required

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 44lbs
• standing for 5 hours at one time
