A Medical Technician (Med Tech) will play an essential role in delivering compassionate care to residents within a community-based care setting. This position involves providing direct care, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and supporting overall wellness. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient confidentiality, fostering a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families, medication administration, reporting changes in residents' conditions to appropriate team members, assistance with daily living, care coordination, documentation, emergency response, family communication, compliance, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in healthcare setting, ability to work independently and as part of a team, patience, empathy, good organizational and time-management skills, ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility, ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods, ability to pass a background check, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Physical requirements include ability to lift and move residents as needed, as well as stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
