This role includes discretionary investment authority for assigned accounts with expectations for expanded responsibilities throughout the year. The position balances investment professional responsibilities of client management, trading, and research with operational support functions. Role:Portfolio Management & Investment DiscretionManage investment accounts with trading authority within established guidelines and risk parametersExecute investment decisions including trade timing, security selection, and portfolio rebalancingExercise discretion on cash management strategies, including raising cash in accounts and determining optimal sourcesExpected to assume responsibility for additional accounts throughout the yearMake independent investment decisions within established guidelines and risk parametersTrade Execution & OperationsExecute equity and fixed income trades with accuracy and timelinessTroubleshoot and resolve operations and systems issues across multiple platforms (Axys, Moxy, Genesis, Black Diamond, etc.)Maintain operational efficiency and system integrityClient Relationship ManagementManage a small portfolio of client relationshipsCommunicate investment information and updates directly with clientsGenerate monthly performance reports, style tilts, look-throughs, and USCCB compliance checksProduce quarterly performance reports for assigned clientsSupport client communication and service needsResearch, Analysis & PresentationConduct ongoing research for the Tower Select strategyAnalyze investment opportunities and market trends, presenting findings to the investment teamExpected to expand analytical and presentation responsibilities throughout the yearPrepare information and materials for the formal CCB Investment CommitteePrepare weekly bond purchase reports for Portfolio Managers detailing purchases from the previous 7 daysGenerate ad-hoc reports as requested by the investment teamMaintain and update the monthly Guidance ListPerformance Reporting & AnalyticsMonthly: Run fund performance spreadsheets analyzing ETFs and Mutual Funds on the guidance list and distribute to Portfolio ManagersMonthly: Prepare and distribute fact sheetsQuarterly: Compile strategy trades for the preceding quarterQuarterly: Update the economic review for Portfolio Manager use in client presentationsQuarterly: Generate Firm Wide Assets report with detailed breakdowns by Portfolio Manager across various categories, including alternative exposure and duration analysisInvestment Committee SupportPrepare materials and information for the CCB Investment CommitteeProvide data, analysis, and insights to support Investment Committee decision-makingDocument and communicate Investment Committee guidance as neededDocumentation & CommunicationMaintain accurate records of all trading activity, investment decisions, and client interactionsSupport Portfolio Managers with presentation materials and client-facing documentationEnsure timely distribution of reports and updates to stakeholdersInvestment Professional Activities (40-50%):Portfolio management and discretionary tradingClient relationship management and communicationInvestment research and analysisOperational Support Activities (50-60%):Systems and operations supportReport generation and distributionData management and analyticsTechnical KnowledgeStrong understanding of equity and fixed income securities, including valuation principles and market dynamicsWorking knowledge of portfolio management concepts including asset allocation, diversification, and risk managementFamiliarity with performance measurement and attribution analysisUnderstanding of investment strategies including ETFs, mutual funds, and individual securitiesKnowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting investment managementSystems & Technical SkillsProficiency with portfolio management systems (experience with Axys, Moxy, Genesis, Black Diamond, or similar platforms preferred)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling, data analysis, and report automationCompetency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology Business Administration, or related field requiredCFA Level I candidate or progress toward CFA designation preferredExperience1-3 years of experience in investment management, portfolio operations, or related financial services roleDemonstrated experience with trade execution in equity and/or fixed income marketsPrior exposure to client relationship management or client service in a professional settingExperience working with portfolio management or trading systemsPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated with ability to work independentlyStrong work ethic and commitment to excellenceContinuous must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $69,616.00-$114,867.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this
