Details Float Pool role covering Medical, Surgical/Peds, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute units Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Requires working every other weekend and holiday Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required NIHSS certification required Education verification required for consideration Prior nursing experience required Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies Documents care according to established standards Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians or hospital policy Participates in unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of longitudinal patient care Applies critical thinking to ensure patient safety and appropriately escalates concerns through the chain of command Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule American Traveler Job ID P-748298.
