Program Planner / Scheduler (Onsite - Marietta, GA)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Planner / Scheduler to support multiple mission requirements across various locations. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) while supporting program execution, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination.

This is a fully onsite role in Marietta, GA (minimum 4 days/week) . Candidates must be comfortable with this requirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across programs
  • Support proposal schedule development , Statement of Work (SOW), and Basis of Estimate (BOE) activities
  • Apply Critical Path Methodology (CPM) for schedule development and network analysis
  • Analyze schedule performance and provide risk and opportunity assessments
  • Advise Program Management on schedule impacts, critical events, and cost/delivery risks
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Production, and Business teams
  • Support internal and external audits , schedule control processes, and project integration activities
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, metrics, and executive-level presentations
  • Build schedules from cradle-to-grave (SOW to completion)
Basic Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Critical Path Method (CPM)
  • Proficiency in Deltek Open Plan (primary scheduling tool)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project (secondary tool)
  • Experience using Milestones Professional
  • Proven experience creating and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Experience in proposal schedule development
  • Full lifecycle scheduling experience ( cradle-to-grave schedule ownership )
  • Experience in schedule control processes, audits, and project integration
  • Ability to perform risk and opportunity analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working independently with technical engineering teams
  • Understanding of technical product development lifecycle
  • Experience with Capture, R&D, and Production Scheduling
  • Knowledge of dependencies between functional teams
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Self-starter with strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Experience delivering reports, metrics, and presentations
