Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to promote improvement in patients' motor function, cognitive skills, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide patients and their caregivers with insightful knowledge about therapeutic methods to ensure ongoing success at home
• Assess and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients are on the right track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Licenses

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
