Description JOB TITLE: In Home Caregiver SUMMARY: Provides direct care to residents in the facility, primarily for their activities of daily living, assistance with therapeutic activities program, restorative programs, and documentation as required by the facility. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful interactions with residents. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are followed. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Assist with medication reminders and monitor residents' health conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate medical staff or family members. Provide transportation or accompany residents to appointments, errands, or recreational activities, as needed. Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided. Uphold residents' dignity, privacy, and independence while fostering a warm and respectful relationship. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in, written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. *COMPUTER SKILLS Proficiency with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.). Familiar with telephone equipment and other various office equipment. *CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-offer and employment physician exam, if required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Ability to work in a fast paced and quick changing environment.
