Production Planner

Production Planning CoordinatorJELD-WEN is currently seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to join our growing team. The Production Planning Coordinator position supports the operation by conducting various administrative duties across multiple departments with limited oversight. This can include processing of orders and paperwork, submitting purchase orders, transacting in the ERP, keeping records, distributing communications, and other duties as needed. In addition, they will drive Continuous Improvement initiatives as it relates to plant operations in conjunction with JELD-WEN's Mission Statement and Key Performance Indicators. They will be expected to work safely and live the JELD-WEN values.Key Responsibilities:Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment and adheres to all JELD-WEN policies and proceduresActs as process owner for suppliers that perform in house restocking of supplies and services for the office, breakroom, first-aid, and janitorialProvides general administrative support to various departments including safety, production, IT, logistics, quality and R&DIdentifies orders ready for production release and distributes them to the floorProcesses order kickbacks from sales request or from the floorProcesses jig requests for repair or replacementIssues purchase orders for assigned suppliersAssists others with purchase order placement as neededPosts important corporate communications to internal monitors for viewing by workforceServes as a backup for scheduling and validationMaintains professional communication with all levels as needed to complete daily duties with accuracy and with adherence to policyParticipates in continuous improvement activities as requiredSuggests improvement opportunities to leadershipOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience performing the above duties in a manufacturing setting is highly desired but not requiredMust have strong attention to detail, be highly organized and produce accurate workAbility to work independently and closely follow directions is essentialProficiency with a computer is requiredMust be able to communicate professionally at all levels of the companyAvailable to work periodic mandatory weekends and overtimeCapable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbout JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.:JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.
