Job Title: Surgical Technician – Ambulatory Surgery CenterLocation: Carmel / Westfield, IndianaPosition Type: Full-Time, Direct HireCompensation: $27–$31/hour equivalent (full-time salaried position, based on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join a growing Ambulatory Surgery Center team in the Carmel/Westfield area. This role is ideal for a skilled surgical tech who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is committed to maintaining sterile technique, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring safe, efficient procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instrumentationAnticipate surgeon needs during procedures and pass instruments efficientlyAssist with room setup, turnover, and preparation for upcoming casesVerify equipment functionality and ensure proper surgical supplies are availableMaintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standardsAssist with patient positioning and preparation before proceduresPerform instrument counts according to protocolCollaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and nursing teamQualificationsCompletion of an accredited Surgical Technology programCurrent Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred (or eligible)1+ year of surgical tech experience preferredAmbulatory Surgery Center or outpatient surgical experience strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to anticipate surgical team needsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environmentSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time positionDay shifts, typically Monday–FridayNo nights, weekends, or major holidays (based on center schedule)Collaborative outpatient surgical setting focused on efficiency and patient safetyCompensation & Benefits$27–$31/hr equivalent (salaried role) depending on experienceCompetitive benefits packageSupportive leadership and team-focused cultureOpportunity to grow with a developing surgical centerIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and calm under pressure, with a strong commitment to sterile technique and surgical excellence.
