This is a full-cycle outside sales role using a proven consultative sales process. HVAC experience is not required - you bring the curiosity and desire to learn, and we'll provide the training. A proven track record of B2B service sales in Ventura County is strongly preferred. This is an outside sales position focused exclusively on new business development. We are looking for an experienced B2B sales professional with a background in selling value-add services with a mid- to long-range sales cycle (3-12 months). Your target market is commercial and industrial buildings throughout Ventura County. The position is responsible for the entire sales process: hunting prospects, cultivating leads, and developing sales opportunities into consultative service solutions. HVAC (heating & air conditioning) knowledge is not required. We will teach you what you need to know - it is more important that this person has strong business acumen and be able to build a financially based case for change, using our proven sales process and tools. What Else Do I Need? Proven track record with B2B service sales in Ventura County strongly preferred. Curiosity to learn about building systems like heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Assertive and extroverted personality with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to consistently book weekly appointments and manage a sales funnel. Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite and able to learn new software for our sales process. A reliable vehicle you can use to work the Ventura County territory (BMI provides monthly vehicle use stipend). Ability to work remotely and independently. Willingness to go "where the equipment is". Part of the sales process is to obtain a HVAC equipment inventory. Our technicians will assist, but candidates need to be willing to go into mechanical rooms or on commercial rooftops (flat, safe) to gather this information. What's In It for Me?
