- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, initiate necessary diagnostic screenings, and develop tailored care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or through collaboration with physicians
- Engage patients and families in discussions regarding prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate within your practice parameters
- Participate in patient follow-up and chronic illness management initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated, patient-focused care
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation utilizing electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Tennessee
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to complete within 90 days)
- Robust clinical skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient interactions
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues
