Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in an engaging, full-time contract position for the upcoming school year. In this unique itinerant role, your primary assignment will be split between an elementary campus and a second location to be determined, both serving K-6th grade students. Collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional education services and fostering student growth in diverse learning environments.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Valid credential or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior experience working in a K-6 educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, differentiated instruction, and classroom management
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in itinerant settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for a diverse caseload of elementary students
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction aligned with student needs and district guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate, adapting to different school environments as required
• Consult and collaborate regularly with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Track student progress, maintain comprehensive records, and participate in school meetings
• Support student access to curriculum and participation in school-wide activities
