Job Description Job Description Advanced Family Counselor Services is currently seeking experienced LCADC/ substance addiction counselors who can handled the daily tasks listed below. The Job Description For LCADC Consists Of The Typical Daily Tasks Listed Below: MUST HAVE A VALID NEW JERSEY "SUBSTANCE ADDICTION COUNSELOR" LICENSE. Meet with clients to assess their substance issues Write treatment and recovery plans: Identify recovery interference situations Educate clients on coping mechanisms Conduct group therapy sessions for patients: Track and analyze patient recovery progression: Help clients plan for discharge from facilities: Communicate with clients and family members Craft patient crisis management plans: Intervene during emergency situations: Work with clients to find or maintain employment: Please Note: The daily tasks of a LCADC/substance abuse counselor can vary depending on the current/active work load status of the agency. #J-18808-Ljbffr
