Warehouse AssistantThe Warehouse Assistant supports the daily functions of the warehouse by performing receiving, stocking, inventory handling, and order preparation tasks. This role ensures accurate movement of parts and materials and provides dependable support to warehouse leadership and parts drivers. The Warehouse Assistant may serve as a back-up parts delivery driver when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and document incoming parts and materialsStock inventory in assigned locations and maintain organized storage areasPull, stage, and prepare orders for internal departments and external customersAssist with routine cycle counts and inventory accuracyMaintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organizationOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as trainedSupport parts drivers with loading, staging, and route preparationServe as back-up parts delivery driver when requiredProvide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers, vendors, and internal teamsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and comprehend instructions and informationValid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standardsAbility to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical CertificationBasic computer skills; ability to learn inventory systemsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProfessional appearance and customer-service mindsetPrior warehouse or parts handling experience preferredPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift and transport up to 50 lbs multiple times per dayAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periodsOccasional driving of a company vehicle for 6–8 hour shifts when filling in as a parts driverExposure to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and various materialsOperation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment as trainedThis job posting is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
