Sewing Machine Operator
Duties include but limited to:
- Perform full range of duties related to sewing, hemming, and repairing of uniforms to ensure that all items are clean and in satisfactory condition.
- Maintain compliance of the uniform program
- Ensure issuance of uniforms
- Prepare yearly Textile reports
- Ensure that par levels are properly set and maintained for all uniform orders to ensure no lapse in uniform assignments
- Collects and maintains statistical data as necessary for the preparation of reports and analysis
- Initiate quotes and proper documentation which supports credit card orders
- Properly inventory and monitor specialty items.
- Ensure receipt of issued facility uniforms
- Reports discrepancies to the supervisor
- Assist Linen and Laundry staff
- Other duties as assigned
