Shipping And Receiving ClerkRugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets.Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk organizes and tracks daily shipments and aids in providing total customer satisfaction by the selling and promoting Rugby Architectural Building Products and services to existing and new customers. This role works primarily in our Door Shop and assists in receiving product from vendors and staging and managing shipments to our customers.What's in It for You:Shift Times: Mon-Fri 7:00 am-3:30 pmPay: $24/hr.Competitive Medical – Dental – VisionShort Term and Long-Term DisabilityLife Insurance401(k) Traditional & Roth with MatchPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysVoluntary Identity Theft & Legal ServicesLongevity Appreciation ProgramGreat TEAM environmentWhat You Will Do:Processes tickets for warehouse shippingOrdering, receiving, assigning of materials and work orders for shopCreate paperwork for truck routes and delivery tickets for next day's deliveryDevelop processes, spreadsheets, and procedures to maximize productivityMaintain customer communications and coordinate logistics in various projects and assignmentsProactively stays informed of daily happenings and potential adjustmentsAnswering customer inquiries and resolving customer complaintsWork safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policiesPerform other duties and responsibilities as requiredAssist branch truck driver by loading and securing material in the truck in a manner that assures no damage in transitEssential Physical Requirements:Ability to lift extremely heavy awkward products repeatedly to store, removes from storage for fabrication, or load onto a truck 50-100 lbs. with a helperMust be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and crouchingYou will be exposed to modest amounts of cold, heat, dust, fumes and noiseWho We Are Looking For:1+ years experienced warehouse personFast paced environment for someone who is quick, but safety conscientiousAble to successfully pass a Valid OSHA approved forklift certificationLumber yard experience a plusMust be highly quality minded in all job functionsGood oral communication, employee relations and customer service skillsPrevious experience in shipping/receiving helpfulDemonstrated computer & basic math skillsExperience with inventory managementAbility to multi-task and problem solveThis role is a Safety Sensitive position, subject to routine drug screening.At Rugby, our goal is to lead the industry!
