Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot Microservices , and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our enterprise architecture team. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce and promotional systems , and a strong background in building scalable, high-performance microservices-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and resilient Java-based microservices using Spring Boot .
  • Architect solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging native services (e.g., Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, GKE, Cloud SQL, Firestore).
  • Provide architectural guidance for e-commerce platforms, specifically around promotions, discounts, loyalty systems , and related domains.
  • Lead and mentor development teams in best practices for microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and QA to deliver robust solutions.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security) are addressed in design and implementation.
  • Conduct code and architecture reviews; recommend improvements and optimizations.
  • Drive modernization initiatives and migration strategies to cloud-native infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java 8+ , Spring Boot , and RESTful API design.
  • Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture .
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms , with hands-on experience in implementing promotions, pricing rules, and cart engines .
  • Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub.
  • Familiar with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
