The Department of Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Academic Rheumatologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to join our Division of Rheumatology. This position offers the opportunity to practice the full scope of rheumatology in a collaborative, academically focused environment.

\n

Position details:
\n • Outpatient rheumatology practice with a broad range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions
\n • Inpatient consult service responsibilities
\n • Participation in multidisciplinary clinics and care models
\n • Exposure to complex and diverse rheumatologic diseases
\n • Robust academic environment with opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows
\n • Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical and/or translational research
\n • Collaborative care model with APPs, nurses, and support staff

We are looking for candidates with the following:
\n • MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
\n • Demonstrated clinical expertise in rheumatologic disease management
\n • Strong commitment to medical education and mentorship
\n • Interest or experience in clinical research is highly desirable
\n • Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
\n • Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State
\n • Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations
