About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: BLS & ACLS Certifications: ARRT (R) RCIS or RCES Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience - Candidates with RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator Description: This position is for a travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. The Cath Lab has two suites equipped with advanced technology. The team consists of 5 Techs and 6 RNs. On day shifts, there are typically 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs present. Night shifts are on call. Patient ratios are not applicable. The equipment used includes Phillips equipment, and the EMR systems are Meditech and Mac Lab. Candidates should possess basic Cath Lab skills, experience in scrubbing and monitoring, and the ability to administer conscious moderate sedation. The ideal candidate is a team player who communicates well and can manage stressful situations. The unit has a fun and supportive team environment. Candidates should be open to being on call for 7-8 days a month, which includes one weekend.
