Registered Nurse – Adult Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume adult emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a Compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced emergency environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC or CEN certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
