Registered Nurse Rehabilitation

Job Summary:
Provide specialized rehabilitation nursing care to patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to rehabilitation patients, including wound management and patient transfers.
• Monitor patient progress, document vital signs, and update electronic health records accurately.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring adherence to policies.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes, mobility, and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to coordinate treatment plans and adjustments.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, complying with all unit guidelines and policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current acute care experience in rehab or medical-surgical units.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and blood draws.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Exhibit flexibility, compassion, and strong advocacy for patient needs.
• Ability to float between two campuses as required.
• Preferably have experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
