The Department of Biology seeks broadly trained biologists capable of teachingintroductory biology majors courses such as Bioenergetics and Ecosystems and Genomes and Evolution (lecture or lab sections). The Military Outreach Coordinator will represent the Epstein Family Military Center at Community College Transfer Fairs and on-base Military Education Fairs. Through collaboration with various partners on campus and within the community, support the university’s Thriving Student Model. The Military Outreach Coordinator will support students’ sense of belonging and engage in EFMC activities on and off campus, including retreats and graduation ceremonies on weekends and evenings. They will encourage students to examine their complex intersectional individual and community identities concerning self and others. The Military Outreach Coordinator will assist in maintaining an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone in the Epstein Family Military Center. The Department of English at the University of San Diego seeks a Teaching Professor to work within the curriculum of both the English Department and the University’s Writing Program (housed in the English Department). Course description: Students focus on a specific small-scale research project in the instructor’s area of expertise while developing basic methods and skills common to all research in Biology.
