Direct Care Worker

Job Description Personal Care: Assist clients with daily personal hygiene routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Household Management: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy living environment. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities to reduce feelings of loneliness. Medication Management: Assist clients in managing their medications by ensuring they take them as prescribed and understand their schedules. Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, as well as walking or exercising if needed. Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in the client's physical or mental health to family members or healthcare professionals. Transport Assistance: Provide transportation or accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other activities outside the home. Emergency Response: In case of emergencies, provide first aid or CPR and notify emergency services if necessary.
