Position Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and daily operations of an assigned Colours, Inc. store location. This role ensures high standards of customer service, inventory management, team development, and operational efficiency while driving sales growth and profitability. The Store Manager leads by example, fosters a customer-focused environment, and holds employees accountable for performance and company standards. Success in this role requires strong leadership, business management skills, and the ability to balance operational execution with revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all daily store operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service. Lead, supervise, and develop store employees while establishing clear expectations and holding the team accountable for performance. Drive sales growth by supporting customer relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and maintaining strong engagement with key accounts. Manage inventory levels including ordering, stock rotation, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, overstock control, and vendor returns to ensure product availability and operational efficiency. Monitor financial performance including sales reports, margins, expenses, and customer account aging to ensure store profitability and compliance with company goals. Ensure accurate processing of transactions, customer orders, and product fulfillment while maintaining proper documentation and recordkeeping. Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment that reflects company standards and brand professionalism. Address and resolve customer concerns or service issues promptly to maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention. Train team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure consistent service delivery. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards while maintaining regulatory compliance. Prepare and submit required operational reports, inventory documentation, and performance updates in a timely manner. Requirements Proven experience in retail, distribution, or store management with responsibility for sales performance, inventory control, and team leadership. Strong understanding of inventory management, financial reporting, and operational processes. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability for performance. Experience managing customer relationships and driving sales growth in a retail or industrial environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to perform physical duties associated with store and inventory operations. Leadership and team development with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable while setting clear expectations and driving performance. Operational management and execution with strong attention to detail to ensure daily store activities, policies, and procedures are followed consistently and efficiently. Inventory control and financial awareness with the ability to manage stock accuracy, monitor sales performance, review financial reports, control expenses, and maintain profitability. Customer relationship management focused on building strong partnerships, resolving service issues effectively, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
