CNC Swiss Machinist

Randstad Staffing is hiring for a CNC Swiss Machinist in St. Anthony, MN for a precision machining business for the medical device industry. Has been in business since 1950.  We are looking for a full-time team oriented, career driven Swiss Machinist. This position entails setting up machines as well as running daily production.   The skills/qualifications we are looking for:

• Set-up experience with Swiss CNC machines
• Operator experience with Swiss CNC machines
• Math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
• Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Able to read and interpret prints
• Experience using a microscope
• Able to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer 
• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments

Responsibilities

• Set-up Swiss CNC machines
• Operating Swiss CNC machines
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on Swiss CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
• Complete tool changes
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions
• Determine/verify appropriate tooling for use in machining and manufacturing operations
