Interim Senior Tax Analyst

Vaco has partnered with a well-established organization seeking an Interim Senior Tax Analyst to support federal and state compliance functions during an upcoming compliance season. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented tax professional who is strong in Excel, works well cross-functionally, and can hit the ground running with minimal direction.


Job Title: Interim Senior Tax Analyst
Location: Chandler, AZ (preference for local candidates)
Pay Rate: $50-60 per hour DOE
Project Duration: 6 months


Responsibilities Include:

• Support federal and multi-state compliance, coordinating closely with external preparer

• Pull and organize files and supporting documentation for outside tax preparer

• Coordinate with accounting, HR/payroll, and engineering teams to gather required data

• Assist with tax provision work, particularly around quarterly close periods

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• Senior-level tax experience with federal and state compliance background

• Strong Excel skills required

• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
