Systems EngineerLocation: Stamford, CT (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 6+ months contract IV: Phone and Video Visa: No H1b/CPTEssential Experience: (Must have skills)Minimum 5 years' experience of UNIX/Linux with strong scripting experience (Unix Shell/ Perl)Experience of Bluecoat or any proxy server product.Management of Load Balancer and Application Switching technologiesManagement of Proxy/Cache appliancesApplication-Layer or XML Firewall technologiesExperience of Apache Web Server technologies.Experience of supporting Java EE platforms (JBOSS, Websphere Administration).Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows platform with IIS 6.0 & 7.0 with Webservices & COM+Comprehensive network skills with a thorough understanding of TCP/IP & Name resolution technologies.PKI, LDAP & Single Sign On TechnologiesProven experience of complete project lifecycle, and exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum)Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)Provide 2nd/3rd line support of global eCommerce, Internet and intranet environments.Solid experience of working in a high-pressure, large-scale, global environment.A thorough appreciation of technology and its value to the business.Experience of working with Application Development and business teams.Ability to communicate at all levels.Solid understanding of distributed multi-tier web architectures.Solid understanding of change control procedures and incident reporting methodologiesExperience of working with application development and business teamsLiaison with appropriate application development representatives to optimize value to the business.
