School Occupational Therapist - New Castle, Delaware

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for Delaware (OT DE license)
  • Background in school-based OT or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
  • Experience in Home Health or Healthcare OT a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptability and creativity in developing personalized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess, develop, and implement therapy interventions to promote academic and functional success
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure holistic support for each student
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress reports
  • Support students' engagement in classroom and school activities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student planning
