Location: Syracuse to Albany

Pay: $22-35 per hour (depending on experience)

AMW is looking for Aerial Lineman to join us in the Syracuse to Albany market. We offer you the chance to use your aerial construction and maintenance skills in fast-paced, challenging environments while working with one of America’s fastest growing construction firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install aerial and underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics
• Undertake pole removal & pole transfers, and set & install new aerial cables
• Safely operate specific equipment and machinery
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks
• Climbing utility poles (up to 30’)
• Keep a detailed record of work activity
• Travel to different job sites and work in various weather conditions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A valid and unrestricted drivers’ license; CDL is preferred
• Previous Cable Placement experience
• Ability to travel to different job sites very frequently
• Ability to lift around 50-75 lbs, safely climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass random drug testing
