# Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** December 22, 2026 **Location:** Arlington, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 48 guaranteed hours per week; 6:1 patient ratio; day and night shifts available; floating per hospital needs

Highlights:

• 30-bed acute care medical surgical unit located in Tower A
• Post-surgical case mix including cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement, pain management, and CIWA protocol patients
• Meditech EMR system; standard equipment includes Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
• Supportive staffing model with charge nurse, 4-5 RNs per shift based on census, PCTs, and unit clerk support
• No on-call requirement
• Fast-paced, high-energy unit ideal for outgoing, dynamic nurses

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Texas RN license or compact state license
• Current BLS certification
• Medical surgical or acute care nursing experience required
• Previous experience in similar high-acuity environments preferred
