A&P Aircraft Technician

Salary Up to $140,000 depending on experience Overview MERITUS are recruiting for an experienced A&P Aircraft Technician to join a corporate aviation organisation operating within a FAA Part 145 environment. The role will support a modern fleet of business aircraft, delivering both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in a fast paced flight operations environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on modern business aircraft, contribute to high airworthiness standards, and provide occasional travelling maintenance support for domestic and international operations. Key Responsibilities Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections Perform routine and complex maintenance activities on aircraft and associated systems Conduct scheduled inspections and unscheduled maintenance, including troubleshooting and Aircraft on Ground support Remove, install and replace aircraft components and systems as required Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, avionics and connectivity-related defects Complete routine servicing activities in accordance with approved maintenance procedures Provide occasional travelling maintenance support for domestic and international operations Support maintenance activities performed away from the primary operating base Maintain accurate technical records, logbook entries and return-to-service documentation in compliance with FAA regulations Utilise maintenance management software to record completed work and track maintenance activity Candidate Requirements Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate Minimum three years experience maintaining corporate or business aircraft Experience on large cabin business jets or transport category aircraft is advantageous Strong fault finding and troubleshooting ability Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Professional communication skills and a customer focused approach Flexibility to work shift patterns and participate in a rotational weekend schedule Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant Licence High School Diploma or equivalent Associate Degree in Aviation Technology or related discipline preferred Experience using aircraft maintenance tracking systems and digital software Valid driving licence Package Salary up to $140,000 depending on experience Medical, dental and vision coverage Retirement savings plan with employer support Life and disability insurance Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Meritus
