Bear State Electric Inc is looking for an experienced Industrial Journeyman / Foreman Level Electrician who can run a small crew for projects, help train apprentices, perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance primarily in manufacturing plants and mixed industrial environments. Work truck provided for use to take home daily, drive directly to and from jobsites. This position requires proficiency with standard electrical hand tools, electrical testing equipment, conduit bending and threading up to 4". Occasional overnight travel is expected to support various site-specific projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical systems in industrial facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide installations and repairs
• Supervise and coordinate activities of the electrical team
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
• Maintain service truck and equipment
• Estimate and track job costs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical work
• Valid Ca General Electrician License
• Valid Ca Drivers liscense
• Pass in house PLC/controls/Electrical exam

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of industrial wiring and circuit testing
• Proficient in blueprint interpretation
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Clean DMV and CA driver's license required
• Overtime and weekend work is frequently required

We are based out of Los Banos Ca where our shop is but roughly half of our work is remote. We have travelled as far south as Bakersfield and Mojave, and as far north as Roseville and grass valley. We have a heavy presence all of the bay area as well!
