Travel Pharmacy Technician - $1,776 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pharmacy Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 9 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Pharmacy Technician Location: Not specified Contract Length: Full-time (40 hours) Job Summary: Assist the pharmacist in the preparation, repackaging, compounding, filling, and delivery of medications. Perform tasks associated with dispensing medications for patients of all ages (0-adult). Responsibilities include ensuring the appropriateness of medication doses, maintaining aseptic techniques, and adhering to infection control standards. Support the procurement, record-keeping, storage, and distribution of controlled substances. Collaborate with Pharmacy Support Services personnel to maintain adequate stock and follow established procedures. Required Qualifications: • RPHT-TX - Registered Pharmacy Technician - TX State Board of Pharmacy • PHAR INT - Pharmacy Intern - State Board of Pharmacy Preferred Qualifications: • CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board • Sterile compounding certification • Experience working in inpatient facilities • Epic experience Additional Information: • Two shifts available: - Shift 1: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (weekdays & weekends) - Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (weekdays & weekends) • Knowledge of current hospital and departmental standards for handling pharmaceuticals • Strong math, reading, and communication skills • Ability to operate equipment used in the preparation of sterile products Integrated Healthcare Services Job ID 37765172.
