About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care CST hospital experience License: NBSTA Certification Certifications: DORA Certification, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following skills: - Minimum 6 months current acute care CST hospital experience - NBSTA and DORA Certifications - BLS Certification Description: This position involves working in a fast-paced operating room environment. The unit has 23 operating rooms and a staff of 70. The typical patient ratio during the day shift is 1:1. The position includes the performance of elective surgical cases, including orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology procedures. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a strong commitment to patient care. There may be a requirement for on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time and potential for second call on some weekends, as well as the possibility of first call for 1-2 shifts. The work environment is focused on teamwork, with no trauma cases involved.
