Salary: $15.50 - $16.50 Hourly

Candidates must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.As a Direct Care Provider, you play a vital role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Your hands-on support and supervision are key in enhancing their independence, health, and safety, ultimately enriching their overall quality of life. You'll assist with activities of daily living, implement personalized support plans, and monitor health and behaviorall while maintaining meticulous records to ensure we meet the highest standards of care. You not only uphold clients' rights and confidentiality but also actively encourage their development in self-care, socialization, and community involvement. As a primary caregiver and advocate, your commitment makes a world of difference. Our services focus on Personal Support and Life Skills Development Level II - Companion, aligning with the guidelines of the Agency for People with Disabilities (APD). Together, we are making meaningful strides in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for those we serve!

Minimum requirements for the position are:

• Candidates must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Be 18 years or older
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Possess at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting,orworking with recipients who have a developmental disability
  • In lieu of the required working experience, applicants may have 30 semester hours, 45 quarter-hours, or 720 classroom hours of college or vocational school
