About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Description: Approval to use Rapid Onboarding Checklist. Unable to approve days off on specified dates. ASAP start needed. Facility is a 294-bed hospital accredited by a recognized organization. Services provided include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. Location is approximately 45 miles east of a major city and 2 hours from the coast. It is also about 1 hour from major universities. There is a recreational area nearby. Must have Meditech experience preferred. Position Information: - Department/Cost Center: 7800 - Role: RN - Shift: Varied - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Hours: Every other - Call Requirements: No required call Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 26 - Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (flexible depending on acuity) - Equipment: Standard Emergency Department equipment - Electronic Health Record: Meditech - Supervisor: To be determined Patient Population: All ages Common Diagnoses/Treatments: - Respiratory Distress - Overdose - Congestive Heart Failure - Dialysis - Hypertension Personality Fit: Team player with a positive attitude. Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing Dress Code: Any scrub color is acceptable, with specific attire restrictions.
