Shift Details: Days 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
Job Description:
As a Cath/EP Tech in our Cardiovascular Cath Lab, you will assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time to supply care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members. Your care will change the lives of our patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- You will help in the procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the Cath/EP Lab
- You will be the subject matter expert of all invasive procedures and prepare patients appropriately according to policy
- Your duties will include circulating, monitoring patients during Cath Lab procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and other cardiac procedures
- You will handle stocking and documenting supplies, patient billing, and coding of procedures
Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree
1 year of experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
AHA or BLS Certification required
ACLS or ALS Certification required
Georgia: Current ARRT or RCIS credentials required, South Carolina: RCIS required, Florida: RCIS required
