HVAC Technician (2nd Shift)Our client, a leading Aerospace Manufacturing and Industrial Facilities Services organization, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department supporting the Critical Facilities and Industrial Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Mobile, AL (320 Airbus Way) Pay Range: Competitive Pay | $35-$38/hour upon conversion to FTEWhat's the Job?Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial and commercial HVAC systems, including DX systems, rooftop units, air handlers, and environmental control equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC mechanical, electrical, control, and automation systems to ensure critical facility reliability.Monitor HVAC system performance, record operational data, and make adjustments to maintain required temperature, humidity, and airflow standards.Troubleshoot controls, sensors, actuators, and HVAC automation interfaces while supporting building environmental systems.Coordinate with contractors, maintain technical documentation, and support inventory and preventative maintenance programs.What's Needed?6–8 years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial or commercial HVAC systems.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with HVAC equipment, controls, and environmental systems.Working knowledge of chilled water, hot water, DX systems, air distribution, and pressurization systems.Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal Certification preferred).What's in it for me?Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee if performance and business needs align.Competitive compensation of $35-$38/hour after conversion to FTE.Work in a large-scale industrial and aerospace manufacturing environment supporting critical operations.Gain exposure to advanced HVAC systems, controls, and mission-critical facility infrastructure.Overtime and weekend opportunities available when business demands require additional support.
