Our team members bring that mission to life every day through exceptional care and meaningful connections.What You'll Do: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing community while serving as a clinical leader and resource for Nursing Assistants. Working as part of a collaborative healthcare team, you'll help ensure residents receive the support they need to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and monitor resident health and well-being.Perform assessments, evaluate changes in condition, and communicate care needs to physicians and the interdisciplinary team.Lead, supervise, and support STNAs to ensure quality resident care and positive outcomes.Coordinate resident admissions, physician orders, lab work, and other aspects of ongoing clinical care.Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements.Promote a safe environment by following infection prevention, safety, and emergency response procedures.Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN): Current State of Ohio RN licenseOne or more years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applicationsWhy Join Genacross?At Genacross Lutheran Services, we strive to improve the lives of everyone, including our Team Members, who daily enrich the lives of our residents, patients, clients & colleagues.
