Territory Manager- Acute Care, NYC and Long Island - Field

Becton Dickinson seeks a Territory Manager for acute care in the NYC and Long Island region to drive sales revenue, develop customer relationships, and provide product education in hospital and clinical settings. The role combines field-based sales activities with responsibility for territory profitability and competitive positioning.
Responsibilities
- Meet territory sales and profitability targets aligned with division priorities
- Conduct routine customer visits, product demonstrations, and in-service training on procedures
- Advise customers on product details, pricing, availability, and policy changes
- Resolve customer complaints and deliver mutually satisfactory solutions
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of BD products, distribution channels, and competitive landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience combination
- Three years of documented field sales experience with proven performance
- Valid state-issued driver's license with three consecutive years driving history
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and hospital management
- Comfortable working in hospital, office, and clinical settings
- Residency within assigned geographic territory
Compensation: $125,992.00 - $207,888.00 USD Annual Base + Commission
