Installer Service Specialist

The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store’s installer counter. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Work with installers and professional customers to develop sales relationships. Take customer orders accurately over the phone and online; invoice orders. Pick and stage parts for delivery, route delivery specialists, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Maintain delivery vehicles, complete inspections on time, and record daily mileage on fleet management devices. Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers. Verify all product, merchandise, and warranty parts are billed before customers leave the store. Handle core and warranty returns, picking them up and crediting them in a timely manner. Audit returns for warranty abuse and ensure correct tagging and labeling. Assist on the front counter and retail counter as needed, and perform backroom duties such as auto-load, returns, and stock management. Process customer labor claims quickly and efficiently. Perform all other duties as assigned. SKILLS / EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES Required: Strong background in mechanics, above‑average communication skills. Desired: Hands‑on knowledge of automotive repairs, ASE certification, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE Competitive wages & paid time off.
