A-Line Staffing is now hiring a  Pharmacy Technician for a  Fortune 500 healthcare/pharmacy distribution organization in  Jeffersonville, IN (onsite) . Position Details

• Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
• Location: Jeffersonville, IN (Onsite)
• Pay:  $18.23/hour  
• Schedule:   Monday 8:00am–6:30pm; Tuesday–Friday 10:00am–7:30pm; Saturday 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Duration: Approximately 27 weeks
• Openings: 8

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing
• Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders
• Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity (opening large quantities of bottles/cases of product)
• Ensure medication containers are properly labeled with appropriate instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area
• Support inventory processes, including stock rotation to help prevent expired medications
• Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain patient confidentiality and  HIPAA compliance
• Assist with record-keeping and documentation related to prescriptions and medication activity

Minimum Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous pharmacy experience
• Ability to select/lift items from shelves and carry to the order filling line
• Ability to consistently carry 20–30 lbs short distances and 15 lbs on an extended basis
• Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
