We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Notre Dame Health Care Center's Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing facility. As a PTA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist promotes and maintains health of residents/patients by providing physical therapy services and directing resident participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.

Requirements:

• The Physical Therapy Assistant must be licensed as required in the state of practice (license issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy)
• He/she must possess an Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited program and accredited by the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy
• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Description 39.75-52.45/hour
