Warehouse Assistant

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join their team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Temporary Warehouse Assistant Location: Ferndale, WA Pay: $19.00 per hour Shift: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm What's the Job? Build and prepare pallets for shipment according to company standards Sort packages accurately by carrier and destination Wrap and secure pallets to ensure safe transport Operate pallet jacks to move and position materials Utilize computer systems for inventory management, shipping labels, and package tracking What's Needed? Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds independently Comfortable standing and working on your feet for 8-hours per shift Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in sorting and documentation Proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems What's in it for me?
