Job Title: Outpatient Clinics Float Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 40 hrs/week Hours per Shift: 8 hrs Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred. License: Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must-Have: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN). Competent to provide care as the primary nurse working under minimal supervision. Ability to remain flexible to float between all outpatient clinics. Healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation). Description: The Outpatient Clinics Float Nurse provides professional nursing care. Performs administrative support functions in outpatient clinics. Must be capable of working in various specialties including Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pain, Primary Care, Rheumatology, Afterhours Care, and other areas as needed. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Experience with EPIC preferred. Emergency Nurses Association - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred. Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred. 2 years of PCU/ICU/CCU experience preferred. 2 years of ED experience preferred. Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing options in surrounding towns should be considered.
