Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities Perform all patient ultrasound imaging procedures. Gather patient history data and complete worksheets with exam findings for the Radiologist. Maintain general upkeep and housekeeping of exam rooms. Assist with imaging center workflow, including general duties such as disc burning and other tasks as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred. CPR certification required. ARDMS or ARRT certification required. State medical licensing, if applicable. Valid state driver’s license, as applicable. 1–2 years experience in ultrasound imaging. Ability to work at several locations. Strong customer‑service, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills. Basic knowledge of computer applications. Local travel may be required. COVID‑19 vaccination may be a condition of employment. Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screen is required. Physical Requirements More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs; see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients. Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel, crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients for transfer or exam).
