Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement; 6:1 patient ratio across all shifts; 2-hour orientation provided

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit caring for adolescent and adult patient populations
• Electronic Medical Records system: Epic (experience required)
• No floating required – remain on your assigned unit throughout the contract
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• One approved time-off request permitted during assignment
• First-time travelers welcome to apply

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring (both on-unit and remote), dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line management, PICC line care, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and pre/post hemodialysis care
• Experience with total joint replacement, orthopedic trauma, CVA patients, and renal failure management
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Completion of PA state fingerprinting and clearances
• Valid professional references required
