Chief Financial Officer

Fully on-site in Bellingham, WA We’re looking for a hands‑on financial leader to partner closely with the CEO and drive profitability, operational discipline, and long‑term growth. This role blends day‑to‑day financial leadership with strategic influence across the business, including M&A, capital strategy, and operational performance. What You’ll Do Drive margin improvement through cost discipline, pricing insight, and operational analysis Partner with operations to identify inefficiencies across labor, materials, and project costing Build scalable financial processes, systems, and forecasting capabilities Lead and align Accounting, IT, and Equipment functions Leverage data and analytics to improve decision‑making and performance Support M&A strategy, diligence, and integration Own financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management Manage relationships with shareholders, lenders, and bonding partners Contribute to board reporting, governance, and long‑term ownership planning What You Bring Proven, hands‑on financial leadership in an operationally complex business Track record of improving profitability and driving cost discipline Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategy and growth M&A exposure (diligence through integration) preferred Strength in building systems, processes, and high‑performing teams Strong communication skills with executives, boards, and external partners Data‑driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action #J-18808-Ljbffr
