Job Description :Job Summary Responsible for providing clinical support services by transporting patients to and from care areas. Delivers one-on-one observation to ensure patient safety. Assists in the progression of patient mobility and rehabilitation. Coordinates with healthcare teams to support patient care activities. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Essential Functions • Prepares patients for transport to and from care areas, considering special precautions as needed. • Utilizes safe moving techniques and appropriate equipment for lifting and transferring patients. • Promotes patient transport progression through safe transfer assistance, therapeutic exercises, and transport activities. • Provides continuous one-to-one supervision for patients requiring observation for safety reasons. • Maintains a safe environment that supports effective team functioning and positive patient outcomes. • Manages multiple priorities efficiently to support patient care and departmental needs. • Maintains clear communication to ensure patient safety, care coordination, and teamwork. • Responds promptly and courteously to calls for assistance. • Addresses the orientation and developmental needs of assigned staff and participates in daily departmental operations, including task delegation. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education Requirement High school diploma or equivalent experience Experience Requirement 1-2 years of experience in healthcare support, or a relevant area An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
