Automotive Parts Counter Associate Responsibilities:
- Order, receive, stock, and process parts
- Supply technicians with automotive parts
- Assist with inventory management and logistics
- Create bin locations for new stock
- Ensure parts and accessory supply is stocked on shelves in the proper location
- Notify customer on parts arrival
- Notify of shortage & damage discrepancies
- Prepare items for returns and shipping
- Deliver parts
- Light forklift duties
- Process warranty scrap
- Keep workspace neat and orderly
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
- Twisting, turning, bending, lifting involved
Automotive Parts Counter Associate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of automotive parts experience preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of automotive Parts and Accessories
- Ability to manage inventory
- Strong computer skills and experience with automotive systems
- Ability to identify parts utilizing manufacturer systems and electronic catalogs
